Ratanga Junction
The pleasure resort Ratanga Junction lies on the N1 freeway (Exit 10, right after the Milnerton turn-off) on an area of 20 hectares, densely covered with beautiful subtropical vegetation and with meandering waterways.
The park was built for more than 300 million Rand and opened in 1998.
Ratanga is definitely worth the visit, especially if you have children.
There are many merry-go-rounds and other facilities that cater for the smaller children. A train runs through the entire park and every day there are variety, theatre and circus performances, puppet-theatre, stunt-shows and snake-shows.
Many snack bars and restaurants invite you to take a break.
If you want to go on rides you make a one-off payment of R90 for the rider ticket, for children R39.

Right next to Ratanga Junction lies Century City with the shopping paradise Canal Walk.The mega centre houses more than 400 shops, restaurants and coffeeshops.
The park offers a great number of merry-go-rounds, very long waterslides and rollercoasters.
The most deliciously terrifying of which, is the Cobra, a high-speed rollercoaster that goes 35 metres high on a wild and looping drive.
